Issue 08 – BW film and Contax T2
A rotating exhibition of photographs. One series at a time.
This issue is about shooting more on black and white film after a long time, and testing out my new point-and-shoot, the Contax T2.
This is only the second roll I’ve put through this camera since I got it in August, and I’m so stoked on it. I’ve been carrying it everywhere, and the results are incredible. I really like the combination of a point-and-shoot and black and white film.
Lately, I've been more inspired to shoot BW film after we received the first physical copy of our book. Seeing a page filled with black and white photos side-by-side inspired me to shoot more of it moving forward. It feels like a whole new universe to explore.
As for the context of these photos, they were captured during our days in Sicily throughout late August and September, and I finished the roll in Greece during a small family trip. So it still carries that late summer taste.
