Issue 04 – LIPARI

A rotating exhibition of photographs. One series at a time.

This new issue comes from Lipari, one of the seven islands that make up the Aeolian archipelago in the north of Sicily. It is a place shaped by volcanic landscapes, small ports, and a slow island rhythm that feels far from everything else. We visited in early September, when the summer heat softens and the islands are still alive but quieter.

We started the trip in Alicudi for four nights, a place so small and peaceful that time felt different. Those days were slow, simple, and easily among the best of the year.

From there we moved on to Lipari, the heart of the archipelago, and stayed for around six days. We explored the small port, the beaches you can reach on foot, and spent long hours wandering with no plans. We also took two boat trips, one around Vulcano and the other around Lipari, two islands side by side but with completely different moods.

It was just me, Lais and my camera, moving from place to place, swimming, drinking coffee, and letting the days unfold naturally. This trip felt special in a very honest way, nothing complicated, just the pleasure of being somewhere beautiful with someone you love.
