Issue 05 – Floripa
A rotating exhibition of photographs. One series at a time.
During our trip to Brazil, we spent January in Florianópolis at our friend's house, right by the beach. Since we were just a 10-minute walk away, of course we went basically every day. This is the place we shot the most while we were there, especially during the morning light that makes everything even nicer.
Floripa is the place we used to live before moving to Italy, so it’s always good to come back, especially in the summer. The city has a special vibe, because it is an island, it's surrounded by greenery. It has the "big city" things, but at the same time, it has nature spots, from waterfalls to many beach options, lakes, and rivers.
The photos in this issue were shot on the Olympus Mju II. They are more casual and less polished compared to the ones from the Contax, but they feel right for this issue, since the majority are not going to be posted on Instagram. Also, a big shoutout to Valente for letting us stay with him during this time.
